Finance and Operations Director Emily Smith presents business woman of the year award at The East Midlands Chamber Enterprising Women event.
Michael Smith Switchgear proudly returned as headline sponsor at the Enterprising Women Awards 2025, organised by East Midlands Chamber.
This year, MSSL once again sponsored the Business Woman of the Year category.
A category that recognised exceptional leadership, commercial results, and the wider impact made by women across the region.
The annual event, held on Friday 26th September at Winstanley House in Leicester, recognises outstanding women in business from across the region.
The awards showcase achievements across a wide range of categories, highlighting innovation, leadership, and impact in the business community.
MSSL has supported the Enterprising Women Awards for several years, with our Finance and Operations Director, Emily Smith, winning Business Woman of the Year herself in 2022.
Since then, MSSL has continued to sponsor the Business Woman of the Year category annually.
This year, Emily took to the stage to present this year's award to Mariam Smith, Managing Director of Datalink Electronics.
Emily said: “It was once again a great night at Winstanley House, seeing so many outstanding women recognised for their dedication, vision, and positive influence.
“ Congratulations to this year’s winner, all category finalists, and everyone who plays a part in the East Midlands business community.”
