MSSL presents Business Woman of the year 2026 at Enterprising Women awards.
Managing Director Sean Smith attended the East Midlands Chamber Enterprising Women Awards at Centre Parcs, Sherwood Forest, as headline sponsors.
Michael Smith Switchgear (MSSL) has been headline sponsors of the annual event since 2023 after Finance and Operations Director Emily Bliss received Business Woman of the year award in 2022.
Sean was there to present the Business Woman of the year, sponsored by MSSL, to Lisa Craven, Managing Director of Stormsaver.
Sean said: “My business partner Emily won this back in 2022 and ever since we wanted to be involved in it.
“It was such an inspirational process and we love seeing how incredible the businesswomen in the region are and they don't believe they're doing incredible things day in, day out when that is what they do daily.
“It's great to be a part of, to see this journey and highlight incredible business leaders such as Lisa Craven and what they are doing day in, day out - it’s astonishing and something to be very proud of.”
The category recognises a leader in the region who demonstrates all-round excellence in business.
The Enterprising Women network is important to the region’s business community, bringing together women from a wide range of sectors to share experience and celebrate success.
As an ongoing headline sponsor, MSSL is proud to recognise the women in the region who are leading successful businesses and making a positive contribution to the East Midlands economy.
Congratulations to Lisa and to all those recognised at this year’s Enterprising Women Awards.
